Indian Railways have implemented Freight Operations Information System (FOIS) for continuous visibility of consignment on the IR Network. This indigenously built system offers host of features ranging from e-registration of rakes, booking and payments, cargo tracking, rake and terminal management systems. For a supply chain manager, FOIS provides strategic advantages of meeting the volume - variety - visibility challenge.

The Certificate Program in Freight Operations Information System (FOIS) is an intensive course developed by The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transportation, India (CILT-INDIA). The objective of the program is to provide detailed exposure of activities related to FOIS.

He presently is a Director in CRIS. He has experience in Railway Operations, General Management and has deep knowledge of passenger services planning. He has worked as DRM.

 

Mr. Vinod Asthana, IRTS 

He is Treasurer, CILT India and a Consultant. He has wide experience of the Commercial, Operations, Logistics, Transportation, Planning, and Marketing on Indian Railways. He is former Managing Director, CRWC. He is MBA from IIFT.

 

Mr. Mukul Jain, IRTS 

He is Fellow of CILT India. He has wide experience of the Commercial, Operations, Logistics, Transportation, Planning, and Marketing on Indian Railways, CONCOR and RVNL. He is Masters in Supply Chain Management from MIT-Zargosa Program and B. Tech from IIT Delhi.

 

Mr. Sanjeeva Shivesh, IRAS 

He is Fellow of CILT India and CEO of The Entrepreneurship School. He has wide experience of the Railway Finance and IT systems. He is MBA from Cranfiled University, UK and B.Tech from IIT Delhi.
