CILT India recently hosted a highly successful virtual event titled 'Breaking the Glass Ceiling: Women in Logistics,' which highlighted and celebrated the remarkable contributions of women in the logistics industry. This event featured engaging discussions aimed at empowering and further uplifting women in the field.
In a transformative conversation, Major Jyoti Joshi Mitter, Head of Rail Operations at Maersk Line India Pvt. Ltd., and Ms. Ashu Sikka, Terminal Manager at Container Corporation of India Limited (ICD) Tughlakabad, shared their valuable experiences and insights. The primary objective was to promote diversity and shed light on the inspiring journeys of women leaders within the logistics and transport sector.
Throughout this series of discussions, we delved into the profound insights gained from the remarkable journeys of women leaders. The aim was to inspire others through their experiences and identify areas where WiLAT (Women in Logistics and Transport) could continue making a significant impact.
